The Summa Gateway adds another layer of functionality to your Summa Lighting Control system. The gateway monitors and collects energy usage and provides real time insight its system health. Diagnostics data is collected continuously which is key in planning maintenance and preventing outages. It cloud-connects your lighting system and enables remote access for the lighting system. For example loading a new set of scenes or scenarios or fine-tuning the control logic.
 
The local is the on-site brains of the Summa Lighting Control system. It makes sure that the system is always approachable for all hardware components. Being a minicomputer, it gathers all data from the hardware components and reports back to the cloud AI. It always monitors the system and save the last version of the AI and algorithm. This will eliminate a lot of data traffic and will make sure that there is always an up-to-date robust environment at every location that doesn’t have cloud dependency.
